High-voltage breakers

High-voltage breakers

High-voltage breakers are distributed along railway lines to interrupt high-voltage electrical power, guaranteeing isolation of specific stretches of line and to ensure safe maintenance.

Breakers are unmanned devices that are controlled remotely, and their automation requires an independent actuator that remains ready to engage: on command the actuator must guarantee ultra-fast opening of the electrical circuit to avoid triggering of an electrical arc that could damage parts in contact.

These are compact devices containing a robust and reliable technical solution that is resistant to extreme environmental conditions and able to operate independently on command from the general line control.

 Benefits

  • Protective surface treatments
  • Ultra-fast action
  • Robust and reliable
  • Customisable hydraulic manifolds and power units

Products

  • Poppet valves
  • Cylinders
