Telescopic handlers are tools for the aerial lifting of materials and objects. These special machines are often used in civil and industrial construction and in agriculture.
There are two main types of telescopic handlers: fixed turret and rotating turret. The former is more commonly used and can only perform lifting frontally. They are particularly widely used in construction and agriculture to perform common tasks. Machines with a rotating turret, also referred to as roto telehandlers, are primarily used for particularly challenging or risky tasks and worksites: the rotating cab and the option to control the machine remotely allow use also in restricted environments or in the presence of harmful dusts and gases.
