Hydreco India: 1 Year of Growth

One year after the inauguration of its new manufacturing facility in Nelamangala, Bangalore, Hydreco Hydraulics India Pvt. Ltd. celebrates an important milestone in the company’s global growth journey, which started 17 years ago in the Peenya manufacturing district.

Since its inauguration in May 2025, the new Nelamangala Plant has rapidly become a strategic hub within Hydreco’s international operations, supporting customers across India, the wider APAC region and Europe with localized production, engineering expertise and enhanced responsiveness.

Reflecting on this anniversary, Katie McColl, CEO of Hydreco Hydraulics, commented:

Over the last year, the Bangalore facility has demonstrated exactly why India is such an important part of Hydreco’s long-term strategy. The passion, technical expertise and commitment shown by our Indian team have been outstanding. This plant is not only supporting our regional growth ambitions, but also strengthening our global capability to serve customers with agility, innovation and quality.

The Nelamangala site combines manufacturing, assembly, painting, logistics and engineering support within a modern and sustainable environment designed to support future expansion and customer collaboration.

Since the move, Hydreco Hydraulics not only provides renowned “Made in India” core products like Gear Pumps and PTOs but is also developing advanced hydraulic solutions from the Daikin portfolio with top customers, including industrial valves and HPUs, compact hybrid HPUs and Chillers.

Ananth Bangalore Suryanarayana, Managing Director of Hydreco India, added:

Our first year has been an exciting journey of growth, teamwork and customer partnership. We are proud of what the team in India has achieved in such a short time. This facility represents much more than a production site, it is a center of competence, innovation and collaboration that will continue to support our customers and partners across the region.

As Hydreco continues to expand its international footprint, the Bangalore plant stands as a symbol of the company’s commitment to investing in local capabilities while building a stronger, more connected global organization.

The anniversary also marks an opportunity to thank employees, customers, suppliers and partners who contributed to the continued development.
